Visit website: itda-s.com →AI governance is the framework of policies, responsibilities, controls and documentation that an organisation uses to deploy AI systems responsibly, traceably and in compliance with the rules. It defines who approves AI applications, how risks are assessed and how their use is monitored and evidenced.
Yes. The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) applies to organisations of all sizes that provide AI systems or use them professionally. Which obligations apply depends on your role – provider or deployer – and on the risk category of the systems used. For many SMEs, AI literacy, transparency and a clean inventory are the main priorities.
Article 4 requires providers and deployers of AI systems to take measures to support the AI literacy of their staff. The amending Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 (July 2026) clarified that no specific level of competence has to be guaranteed – but suitable, context-appropriate and documented measures are still required.
Yes, it is advisable. As soon as employees use generative AI tools, it should be clear which tools are permitted, which data may be entered and how results are checked. A short, understandable AI policy reduces data protection and liability risks and serves as evidence at the same time.
We record which AI applications you use or plan to use, which policies and responsibilities already exist and where regulatory action is needed. You receive an assessment of your maturity level and concrete next steps – without obligation.
That depends on the number and risk of your AI applications. Following the minimal-change principle, we integrate AI governance into existing quality, risk and management processes instead of building parallel structures. We name the specific effort after the free assessment.
We support organisations throughout Styria – from Birkfeld and Eastern Styria with Weiz and Hartberg to Graz and Bruck an der Mur – and throughout Austria, on site or remotely, in German or English.
